In 1979 she published Clothing:
A Handwoven Approach, a workbook for weavers. For
several years, Barbara enjoyed being News Editor and
feature writer/editor for Ornament
Magazine, where she was privileged to meet and interview
many of the leading American craftspeople working in
the field of body adornment.
1989 she began working with woodburning tools creating
unique, one-of-a-kind frames, and soon Frames
From the Heart was born. She has been featured
several times on HGTV demonstrating her innovative creativity
trays and frames
objects and recycled materials.
Barbara continues to create hundreds and hundreds of
absolutely unique frames for happy customers, new babies
and newlyweds everywhere.
